Sorry for the lack of posts over this past week.
We're going through a bit of a busy time at the moment, and the blogging had to give way.
Hopefully normal transmission will resume shortly!
In the meantime, I'm still keeping up-to-date with all your blogs and leave you with a image which I took of J and the boys chasing a turtle in the Maldives.
We wish that we were there right now!

wow... groovy picture!!
welcome back.. i thought you went on a (2nd?) honeymoon or something muahaha
just checking... lol
That is so amazing, my kids wish we were there too. Keep posting pics and we can be laptop tourists from here Down Under :)
Beautiful. Reminds K and I of kayak/snorkeling with the turtles on Maui. But my pics aren't as good. :(
The house's gone from your blog.. does it mean it's sold? yay!
Mauritius isn't bad either, you guys should go there someday or Seychelles for that matter, or you have?
Wow! Great shot!
Nice pic. Have a nice time.
*sigh*
I need a holiday! I'd love to swim wif the critters, but I'm allergic to seawater & have a phobia about going underwater, so I'll just enjoy your lovely pics instead!
BuJ: very observant of you - yes, the house is sold. We've managed to get out with our souls and sanity intact!
Cazzie!!!: Welcome to our blog!
PB: That was on a borrowed camera too. I didn't have an underwater housing for my camera at that stage. I bought the housing later at Bic Camera in Tokyo!
Louis: Went to Mauritius last year and loved it. If you do a search on Mauritius on our blog, you'll find the post. The island reminded me very much of my Fiji homeland. The Seychelles we haven't done because we believe that it's a lot more expensive. One day!
Clay and Kishor: thank you!
Jin: I think that I would die if I was allergic to seawater. It's where I feel most at home. We need a holiday too!
Groovy good NZM :)
Well it's a simple equation:
(too busy to blog) + (picture of house removed) = (house sold)
hehe, after all it's just a bit of arithmetic :)
Si, Seychelles is a bit expensive, that's why we've been there just once but Mauritius is a regular escape zone :)
Congrats on the house sale :)
Oh wow! Amazing action pic! And congrats for the sold house!
Ah, the picture of a perfectly formed turtle's head.
Majestic and serene....
great picture. What camera do you use for the diving pictures and could you recomment a good quality "cheap" camera for that same purpose.
BuJ: how clever you are, dear Sherlock! :-)
Taunted: agree with you. We could follow these creatures for hours and never get bored.
DReb: This image was on a borrowed camera - a Sony in a waterproof housing borrowed from the dive center at the resort.
I now have my own Canon dive housing which I use with my Canon Ixus 400 (or 400S as it's also known).
Unless you're going to do a lot of underwater photography, getting an underwater housing for your existing camera is definitely the way to go - if they're available.
